An eighteen-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault in Weymouth.
The alleged incident took place at an address in Trinity Road, next to Weymouth Harbour yesterday (Thursday, November 2) at around 1.30pm.
A cordon was put in place whilst police officers carried out enquiries at the scene.
The 18-year-old man was known to the victim.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 3.29pm on Thursday, November 2 of a sexual assault in Weymouth.
“It is reported that the incident occurred at around 1.30pm on the same day at an address in Trinity Road.
“A cordon was put in place while enquiries were carried out at the scene. An 18-year-old man – who is known to the victim – was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.
