A motorcyclist was injured in a crash on Portland Beach Road.
The collision, which only involved the bike, happened on the busy route (A354) opposite the end of the Chesil Beach car park.
Passing drivers said emergency services were parked in the car park with the rider treated on the verge, which meant traffic did not appear to be affected by the incident.
The male rider was taken to hospital but it is not thought he was very badly hurt.
It happened just after 6.15pm on Friday, November 24.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 6.18pm on Friday to a report of a single vehicle collision involving a motorbike on the A354 Portland Beach Road. Officers attended with the ambulance service.
"The male motorcyclist was taken to hospital for injuries that were not believed to be life-changing."
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust said: “We were called at 6.18pm to a road traffic incident on Portland Beach Road.
"We sent two double-crewed land ambulances and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Dorset County Hospital.”
