An air ambulance was scrambled to a medical emergency in Chickerell this morning.
The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance was accompanied by two double-crewed land ambulances and an operations officer as they rushed to the aid of a person in need of medical attention at around 7.39am today (Tuesday, November 28).
A person was later taken by ambulance to Dorset County Hospital.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 7.39am on Tuesday, November 28, to an incident in Chickerell, Weymouth.
“We sent two double-crewed land ambulances, an air ambulance and an operations officer and we conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Dorset County Hospital.”
