A man has been identified following a police appeal into a damage at a takeaway.
Dorset Police issued CCTV images of a man they wished to identify after a window of Surfside Diner in New Street, Weymouth was punched.
A 26-year-old man from Portland has been identified and will be attending a voluntary police interview.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "A man has been identified following a CCTV appeal in relation to reported criminal damage in Weymouth.
"It is reported that a man punched the external window of the Surfside Diner in New Street causing damage between 2.30am and 3.30am on Saturday November, 18.
"Following a CCTV appeal and enquiries by officers, a 26-year-old man from Portland has been identified and is due to attend for a voluntary police interview.
"We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal."
