A person has been taken to hospital after a crash on the A352 between Dorchester and Sherborne.
The incident happened near Holnest at the junction with the B3146 earlier today and involved a single vehicle.
A person was taken to hospital by the police. It is not thought they were seriously hurt.
Police officers attended the incident which had caused some delays in both directions.
The collision has now been cleared and traffic has returned to normal.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 6.23am of a single vehicle collision on the A352 at Holnest.
"Officers have attended and one person has been taken to hospital as a precaution for injuries that are not believed to be serious."
Ambulance crews were made aware of the accident but did not attend.
A spokesperson for South Western Ambulances said: "We were made aware of this incident but not required to attend. The police conveyed the patient to hospital as a precaution."
