Damage has been caused to a recycling centre in north Dorset.

Dorset Police have just issued CCTV images of a man they wish to identify as they continue to investigate a burglary at the Weymouth and Sherborne Recycle Centre in Shaftesbury Lane, Blandford.

Officers attended the scene and found damage to the site office door. At this time, it is not believed anything was stolen.

Police constable Edward Lewis, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been investigating this burglary and have obtained CCTV images of a man we would like to identify as part of our enquiries.

“I appreciate his face cannot be clearly seen but it may be someone is able to recognise him from his general build and clothing. I would urge anyone with information regarding his identity to please get in touch.”

The incident took place at around 12.20am on Saturday, November 25.
