Animals across Dorset have been donning their best festive wear ready to bring joy to all.

We asked for your festive pet photos - and you didn't disappoint.

A clear fan-favourite was Brenda the goose from Weymouth, who wore a fabulous reindeer scrunchy and posed for the camera making sure to get her best angles.

Also guaranteed to bring a smile to everyone’s face is Marmalade the chicken, who lives on the same farm and happily posed for a picture.

There are also plenty of paw-fect pups using Christmas as an excuse to show Echo readers how handsome they are.

Freddy from Dorset proved how much of a good boy he is by sitting next to the Christmas tree with his adorable reindeer antlers and Christmas neckerchief.

If you thought the puppy dog eyes stopped there – you were wrong.

This handsome pup is stealing hearts (and keeping warm) this Christmas dressed in his festive best.

Rosie the pony from Weymouth is bringing a touch of sparkle to the dark winter nights with her green and glittery antlers.

Vicar of Holy Trinity Church in Weymouth, Juliet Stephenson, posed alongside Chief Brody with matching antlers as they prepared for the RNLI Reindeer Challenge.

The pair will be walking a mile a day in December until Christmas to recognise the 24 hours that RNLI crews work on Christmas Day.
