A next of kin appeal has been launched for a man who died at home.
The Coroner for Dorset is seeking the assistance of the public to find the next of kin of a man who lived in Shaftesbury.
Michael Andrew Burgess, who was 71 years old, died at his home address in Lower Blandford Road on Tuesday, December 12.
His death is not being treated as suspicious and no police investigation is needed into his death.
Coroner's Officer Lucy Manuel said: “We are not treating the death as suspicious, however we have not been able to locate his next of kin.
“If any member of the public has any knowledge of his family members, please contact us as soon as possible on 01202 123900.”
