A PERSON was rescued from a building in Poundbury by firefighters.
Firefighters were called to Peverell Avenue West in Poundbury at 6.08pm yesterday evening (Monday, December 18).
A casualty was removed from a building and taken into an ambulance.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said: "At 6.08pm last night one crew from Dorchester was called to Peverell Avenue West, Poundbury to assist the ambulance service.
"Firefighters helped remove a casualty from a building and into an ambulance."
