A Dorchester travel agency continues to contribute to our Christmas Toy Appeal.

Nicoll World Travel has kindly donated £100 to what is now our 24th Toy Appeal and will go a long way to putting smiles on children’s faces this Christmas.

The appeal allows us to give children who are less fortunate a toy to open on Christmas Day and relies heavily on the kind donations of local businesses like Nicoll World Travel.

The independent travel agents operates out of their offices at 23 High East Street in Dorchester providing travel arrangements to locations across the globe.

Beth Holder, manager at Nicoll World Travel said: “We donate to the toy appeal because it is important that children have presents to open at Christmas.

“We have been doing it for a long time and we believe that every child needs to be made to feel special at this time of year.

“Also, we would like to wish everyone a merry Christmas and happy new year."

We asked readers to give a thought to children in need this Christmas and buy one extra present to go in a Dorset Echo Toy Appeal bin which were located at various local businesses.

All the toys collected will be distributed before Christmas to children who really appreciate them.

Businesses were also invited to make a £100 donation, and donations were also welcomed from readers for any amount.

The Toy Appeal bins have now been collected and we are no longer accepting donations.
