MORE than £300 worth of vape refills were stolen from a Tesco Express in Lytchett Matravers after thieves forced entry into the store.

The Tesco Express store in Lytchett Matravers High Street was broken into and more than £300 worth of vape refills were stolen.

The store’s alarms were activated and police attended, but the offenders had left the scene.

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a commercial burglary at a store in Purbeck.

Police Constable Katy Ross, of Purbeck police, said: “We have been making enquiries into this burglary and I am appealing to the public for anyone with information that might assist our investigation to please contact us.

“I would like to hear from anyone witnessed any suspicious activity in the Lytchett Matravers area around the time of the incident, or anyone who may have captured anything relevant on home CCTV or dashcam footage.”

The theft reportedly took place at around 3am on Monday, November 27, but police have just now released the information to the public.
