Another spell of heavy rain is expected to hit the county.

The Met Office has issued another weather warning that includes Dorset with more rain expected to fall onto saturated ground, which may lead to further flooding and travel disruption.

A yellow weather warning will come into place from 12pm on Thursday, January 4 until 3am on Friday, January 6.

There is a slight chance of power cuts and loss of other services to some homes and businesses and a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings.

Spray and flooding is likely to lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures leading to a small chance that some communities will become cut off by flooded roads

Where flooding occurs, there is a chance of delays or cancellations to train and bus services

Storm Henk had caused plenty of travel disruption on Tuesday, January 2, as high winds forced trees to come down across roads and train tracks, with gusts believed to have reached 71mph on Portland

Flood warnings were also issued to the River Frome from Maiden Newton to Dorchester which was still in place as of Wednesday, January 3.
