An 'inconsiderate' driver who parked their car across a 'keep clear' road marking caused traffic delays on Portland.
The car was parked over the 'keep clear' road marking outside the Island Gallery in Easton Square, preventing a Tesco lorry from being able to make a turn into Reforne.
The traffic delays came during the busy school run on the isle.
A spokesman for the Portland Neighbourhood Police Team branded the parking 'inconsiderate'.
They are urging people to think about where they park their vehicles.
A spokesperson for Portland Neighbourhood Police Team said: “We would like to remind residents of the island, to consider where they park their vehicles.
“Parking restrictions are there to assist traffic flow and keep our roads safe for all users. This vehicle parked in a ‘keep clear’ area, caused delays in Easton Square this afternoon.
“The Tesco lorry couldn't make the turn into Reforne due to this inconsiderate parking, which backed up traffic right on school run time. Please think. Stay safe Portland.”
