Tourism and hospitality businesses are celebrating being named as the best in the county at the Dorset Tourism Awards.

In its 11th year, the award ceremony was held at the Weymouth Pavilion and marked a return to pre-pandemic numbers.

Taking place on Thursday, February 1, 260 winners and sponsors attended the event as hospitality businesses of all kinds were recognised for their excellence following a rigorous judging process.

The awards were preceded by an introduction by journalist Dr Kate Adie, recently announced as the new President of the Dorset Campaign to Protect Rural England.
