FUEL was spilt onto a road in Blandford.
An unknown quantity of fuel was spilt onto a road in Blandford at around 12.42pm on Friday, February 9.
Firefighters helped spread bags of sand across the road to absorb the fuel and to prevent it from entering drains.
A spokesperson for Blandford Fire Station said: "At 12.42 this afternoon, one appliance from Blandford was mobilised to an unknown quantity of fuel spilt on the highway.
"Many thanks to Travis Perkins for supplying the crew with bags of sand to spread across the highway to absorb the fuel.
"This helped prevent any fuel from entering drains and made the highway safer until the arrival of the local authority."
