A professional beggar was moved on from a Dorset street by police.
The Dorchester Neighbourhood policing team were out patrolling ‘known anti-social behaviour hotspots yesterday (Saturday, February 10) when they came across the ‘professional beggar on South Street.’
Whilst out, they also spoke with a number of shopkeepers whilst out on their foot patrol.
A spokesperson for the Neighbourhood Policing team said: “We have been out on foot patrol in the town centre this afternoon, patrolling our known anti-social behaviour hotspots.
“Whilst out we also liaised with a number of shopkeepers and moved on a professional beggar from South Street.”
