Police dealt with a concern for welfare callout near Dorchester station.
Officers were called to the area of Brewery Square today (Monday, February 12) at 9.23 after receiving reports of a concern for welfare.
The man was located and taken to receive the 'appropriate care.'
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 9.23am on Monday, February 12, raising concern for the welfare of a man in Brewery Square in Dorchester.
"Officers attended and the man was taken to receive the appropriate care."
Due to the incident near the railway at Dorchester South, trains were running at a reduced speed on all lines.
A spokesperson for South Western Railway said: "We have been informed that police are dealing with an incident near the railway at Dorchester South.
"The incident is no longer ongoing and we're not expecting any further delays to our services."
Disruption was impacting train services between Weymouth and London Waterloo.
