New jobs will be created by an extension to a Weymouth holiday site bar and café.
Dorset Council has approved the changes to the existing café/bar at the Waterside Holiday Park off Bowleaze Coveway. The extension will also include relocating a toilet block.
The changes will see the unit increase in size from 55square metres to 84sqm allowing for an increase from six to 12 part-time staff during the peak season.
Weymouth town council raised no objections to the changes while the Ramblers Association reminded the holiday park of the need to keep open a public footpath, part of the South West Coast Path, which crosses the site.
