A WOMAN has appeared in court in connection with an alleged hit and and run crash in Weymouth in which a 12-year-old boy was injured.
Anita Lizinkiewicz, of Drake Avenue in Chickerell, appeared before Weymouth Magistrates' Court yesterday to plead not guilty to failing to report an accident at a police station or to a constable.
Lizinkiewicz, aged 39, also pleaded not guilty to failing to stop after an accident and to give her name and address and the name and address of the vehicle owner as well as identification marks for the vehicle.
It follows a crash in which a 12-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was injured on Chickerell Road near Budmouth School on July 4, 2023. The boy was left with serious injuries.
The case was adjourned until Tuesday, April 30 for a trial.
