A choir group based in Weymouth will be performing at the town’s historic sea fort this weekend to celebrate Mother’s Day.
On Sunday, March 10, Nothe Fort, located at the entrance to Weymouth Harbour, will be hosting a celebration event from 10.30am to 4pm for Mother’s Day and has invited Weymouth Rock Choir to perform.
The group has been developing a specific performance to mark the occasion over the past few months which will be from 11am to 12pm.
There will also be cannon firing and and rifle drills following the performance by the Nothe Fort Artillery.
The event is free with a General Admission ticket and is also covered by Annual Passes.
