A man has appeared in crown court charged with assault after an incident in Weymouth.
Jethro Cray-Morris, aged 44 and of Lennox Street, Weymouth, appeared at Bournemouth Crown Court on Tuesday, March 12 to plead not guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
This follows an incident reported to police on the morning of Sunday, February 11, of a man requiring medical treatment at an address in Lennox Street.
It was reported that a local man aged in his 60s was airlifted to hospital after being assaulted and sustaining a serious head injury.
Cray-Morris will appear at Bournemouth Crown Court for a trial on August 13. He is being held in custody.
The defendant was represented by Mr Robinson, the prosecution barrister was Mr Wilkins and the case was heard by judge, Recorder Don Tait.
