A man has appeared in court charged with threatening a woman with a knife and breaking her phone at a flat in Weymouth.
Christopher Heal, aged 39, appeared in Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday, March 14.
The charges relate to an incident on June 24, 2023, where Heal is alleged to have threatened a woman with a knife at a flat on Weymouth Esplanade and damaged her phone.
No official pleas were entered to the charges.
His case, which was heard by Judge Jonathan Fuller KC, has been adjourned until April 4 to give Heal - who was representing himself - an adequate opportunity to arrange legal representation.
Heal, of East Hill, Tuckingmill, Camborne in Cornwall, is on conditional bail not to contact the alleged victim.
