A wanted man who has connections to Weymouth has been arrested.
As previously reported, Anthony Higgins, 35 from Chorley, Lancashire, was wanted in connection to offences of section 18 wounding, threats to kill and criminal damage in the area.
Preston Police released an image of Higgins and confirmed had connections to Weymouth.
He was subsequently arrested on Sunday, March 25 and is currently in custody.
A spokesperson from Preston Police said: "You might have seen that on Friday we appealed for information about Anthony Higgins, 35, who was wanted in connection with offences of section 18 wounding, threats to kill and criminal damage in Preston.
"Higgins was arrested in Preston on Sunday and is currently in custody.
"Thank you for your help."
