Police have cordoned off a toilet block on Weymouth seafront.
Three police officers can be seen stood outside the toilets at the Pier Bandstand which have been cordoned off.
Forensics teams are also on-site of the incident.
When approached for comment, the officers explained that they could not comment at this time.
A spokesperson for Weymouth Town Council said: "The Pier Bandstand Toilets will be closed until further notice. Sorry for any inconvenience caused."
A passer-by who did not want to be named said: "It is really quite shocking to see all of the police cars here.
"I do hope that whoever is involved is okay. "It's a bit worrying that they have had to close the toilets off completely - it must be serious."
Another nearby walker who did not want to be named said: "I saw two ambulances and two police cars. It doesn't shock me, but it definitely isn't a nice thing to see."
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: "We were called at 12.10pm on Monday, March 25 to an incident in Weymouth. We sent two double-crewed land ambulances to the scene.”
Dorset Police have been contacted for further information.
