A Dorset town is holding its first ever Pride event this summer.
Sherborne Pride will take place on Sunday, July 7 at Pageant Gardens in Sherborne.
There will be a parade through the town, a cinema week, literary society events, arts, comedy, pop up street performances, LGBT stalls in Pageant Gardens and lots more.
The much anticipated event introduces Vicki Vivacious as Sherborne Pride’s headline drag act.
The cabaret queen of Cornwall, who sashayed and slayed on RuPaul's Drag Race UK series five will be performing, meeting, greeting and being outrageously fabulous.
The free event is brought to the town by Vineyards, Lolly Agency and The Sherborne Market and is sponsored by Battens solicitors.
A Facebook group and website has been launched for people to get involved in the run-up to the event. See sherbornepride.org and search for 'Sherborne Pride' on Facebook.
