Students at a Weymouth secondary school are ‘thrilled’ with their competition win.
Louisa Roberts and Delilah Jarman are students at Wey Valley Academy on Dorchester Road and were both recently crowned the winner of a design and colouring competition.
One of the winning students said: “I am so thrilled with winning this competition as I want to be a designer in the future.”
The Easter competition was judged by headteacher Mr Neill.
Mr Neill said: “There were so many beautiful designs it was decided to award two winning entries - my congratulations to all of our students who entered and for their interest in art and design.”
Morrisons supermarket kindly donated the academy the winning prizes which were a Cadbury’s chocolate finger Easter egg and a Nestle KitKat Easter egg.
