A MAN has appeared in court after being found in possession of knives and a catapult.
Geoffrey Conquer admitted to multiple charges for offences across Dorchester and Weymouth.
He was found in possession of a catapult in Dorchester Road in Weymouth on February 16 of this year.
Also that month, he was found in possession of a lock knife in Portland Beach Road in Weymouth on February 12, and a Stanley knife in Abbotsbury Road in Weymouth on February 23.
He went equipped for theft of a motor vehicle with metal snippers in Larkspur Close in Weymouth on February 16, and stole a catapult from a vehicle in Highgrove Close in Dorchester on February 16.
He also stole a bank card from a woman in Dorchester Road in Weymouth on February 16.
Conquer, of Weymouth, appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on April 2.
He was handed a community order running until October 1, 2025.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114.
