Time is running out for residents to have their say on how the fire service is run in Dorset.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service has a statuary duty to produce a Community Risk Management Plan, which they do through its Community Safety Plan.

The plan sets out the key challenges and risks facing the service over the coming years, and also details what it intends to carry on doing and what  to review and do differently to meet and reduce these risks.

A draft of the plan has been published and members of the public have been invited to give their thought on it by taking part in a survey.

The survey opened on February 9, but there are just two weeks left for anyone to take part with it set to close on Friday, May 3 .
