Firefighters tackled a chimney fire in a village property.
Firefighters from Blandford Fire Station were called out to the chimney blaze at 2.52pm on Wednesday.
Upon arrival to the home in Stoke Wake, crews believed that the fire had been put out, however they proceeded to use chimney rods to make sure that the fire was fully extinguished.
A spokesperson for Blandford Fire Station said: “One crew from Blandford were mobilised this afternoon to reports of a chimney fire in Stoke Wake.
“When crews arrived, the fire was believed to be out however crews used the chimney rods to ensure the fire was fully extinguished before returning home station.”
