Emergency services attended an industrial estate in Dorset following a spillage of an unknown chemical.
The incident is said to have taken place around 10.22pm on Sunday, April 28 somewhere on the Sandford Industrial Estate on Sandford Lane in Wareham.
Three fire crews from Poole, one from Wareham and another from Hamworthy were in attendance along with support units also from Hamworthy and Poole.
The unknown chemical was tested, and a Poly Spill Boom land barrier was deployed to contain the spill before the incident was handed over to the local authority.
A spokesperson for DW Fire said: “We received a call at 10.22pm yesterday evening (28 April) about an incident on Sandford Lane, Wareham. Crews from Wareham, Poole and Hamworthy along with support units also from Hamworthy and Poole, attended the incident which involved a spillage of an unknown chemical.
“The chemical was tested and a Poly Spill Boom land barrier deployed – the incident was then handed over to the local authority. Our stop was in at 2.24am.”
Dorset Police were also in attendance, and a spokesperson said that the operation was led by the fire service.
