POLICE are hunting a suspect involved in a robbery in Sherborne.
A police helicopter circled the Kit Hill area of the town at around 1pm today.
Residents have reported seeing police cars with flashing lights through the town as they searched for a suspect.
Dorset Police said: "Officers were carrying out arrest enquiries at around 11.20am on Monday, May 13, in relation to a report of a robbery in Sherborne on Saturday, May 11.
"Searches are being carried out in the area, assisted by the NPAS helicopter. "
