A DORSET man has become a millionaire after winning in The National Lottery.

A mystery man, known only as Mr. G from Dorset, has scooped a £1,000,000 prize in the EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker draw on Friday 26 April.

EuroMillions Millionaire Maker guarantees to create a millionaire in every draw but the special draw on Friday, April 26, saw 10 lucky UK millionaires made in one night including lucky Mr. G.

He joins a man from Cheshire and a woman from Surrey who won the same prize in this special draw.

The Dorset local, who played a personal selection of random numbers via the National Lottery website, has become one of over eight million players that win each week on The National Lottery’s range of games.

Winners have the opportunity to release their name, remain anonymous or like this winner, release some details through partial publicity.

UK Millionaire Maker is a draw-based game which is automatically included on all EuroMillions tickets purchased in the UK, at no extra cost.

It is supplementary to the EuroMillions game, which is played across Europe, the UK Millionaire Maker works like a raffle in order to guarantee a winner in the UK.

The game guarantees at least one £1 million prize in every draw, special draws also take place regularly, creating multiple winners at the same time.

The National Lottery estimates that the odds of winning the Millionaire Maker are around 1 in 6.6 million.
