A group is offering guided walks of trees within a Dorset town centre.
Tree Walks in Dorset will meet every Wednesday in June, July and August between 6pm to 7.30pm at the front of the Colliton Club in Dorchester.
The first walk is set to start on Wednesday, June 6. The 90 minute whistlestop tour will run through 20 trees in the town with advice on how to identify them, and how they work.
Walks are planned whatever the weather is, with the group touring mainly paved walkways in the town centre and riverside.
The walk leader is Julie, and will be identifiable from her orange sunhat and high visibility waistcoat.
Cost of the tours are £7.50 for adults, with children accompanied by an adult going free. Booking in advance is not necessary.
