An evening of music and songs will help raise funds for a local cause.
The Encore Singers are inviting the public to their next concert, Music for a Summer’s Evening, which will take place on Saturday, July 6 at the United Church on South Street in Dorchester. Doors are set to open at 7.30pm.
James Crawshaw is the musical director for the concert, whilst Alistair Dean will be accompanist. Alex Best will be soloist, with a special appearance during the evening from the Deans Academy.
There will be a retiring collection to raise funds for the Friends of Dorset County Hospital, a charity providing comfort and help to patients and their families.
Entry is free and refreshments will be available.
