A free day of activities for kids and young people is coming to Portland next month.
The brand new event, Island Vibes, will be held on July 13 from 11.30am to 4.30pm at the Portland Masonic Hall, car park and skate park.
It is being led by the Portland Youth Council in collaboration with Island Community Action. All events are free and aimed at children and young people.
There will be a skateboard and scooter jam, an activities showcase, a young entrepreneurs market and an acceptance parade.
A spokesperson for the Island Community Action said: "Four weeks to go until Portland Youth Council launch their event! Please support these incredible young people in their mission to show just how great Portland is.
"There will be free tasters open to children and young people with activities like power kiting, dance, first aid training, theatre, bee-friendly crafts and an acceptance parade.
"Not to mention an amazing skate jam run by King Ramps as seen at the Boardmasters festival."
