A TEENAGE girl has reportedly been raped in a park in Dorset.
Dorset Police received a report that a teenage girl had been raped in Upton Country Park.
The incident is reported to have occurred at approximately 7pm on Sunday, June 9.
Dorset Police received a report at around 9.25am on Wednesday, June 12, that a teenage girl had been raped.
A police cordon is in place at an area of woods by a trailway off Blandford Road.
The cordon has been put up to allow for inquiries to be carried out, and there will be an increased police presence in the area as the investigation continues.
Detectives are speaking with the victim to provide support and establish the full circumstances of the incident.
A resident walking her dog at Upton Country Park said: “It’s really scary around here at the moment. As women, we really don’t feel safe anywhere.”
No arrests have been made.
