Firefighters forced entry into a property during a medical emergency.
A crew from Weymouth Fire Station were called to assist the ambulance service to help them gain access to a property on Spa Road, Weymouth last night.
Firefighters used a door enforcer to gain entry to the property and remained on scene for around an hour and a half afterwards.
A double crewed land ambulance was sent to the address.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We received a call from the ambulance service at 7.30pm yesterday requesting our assistance to help gain access to a property on Spa Road, Weymouth.
“One fire engine from Weymouth attended and used a door enforcer to gain entry to a property.”
The stop message, meaning that the incident had been dealt with and no further action was required came at 7.48pm and the crew remained on scene until just after 9pm.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust said: “We were called at 6.53pm on Thursday, June 13 to an incident in Weymouth. We sent one double-crewed land ambulance to the scene."
