Year six pupils from five Weymouth academies gathered for a special leavers service.
Children from Beechcroft St Paul’s, St Andrews, St John’s and St Nicolas and St Lawrence took part in a service at Salisbury Cathedral to mark the end of their time at primary school.
These schools form part of The Bay Hub, a group of academies which are part of the Diocese of Salisbury Academy Trust which is made up of 28 schools across Dorset and Wiltshire.
The service took place on Wednesday June 19 and was led by the Bishop of Salisbury. Children sang songs and took time to reflect on their time at primary school.
Caroline Hawker, acting headteacher at Beechcroft St Paul's, described the service as a "moving" celebration to mark the end of the pupils' time at primary school.
She said: "All of the children took part in a moving service to mark the end of their time at primary school, with songs, time to reflect and lots of celebration.
"The children were a credit to their schools and thoroughly enjoyed the chance to take part in the special service."
