A jazz concert featuring some of the most memorable and iconic TV themes is coming to Dorchester.
Musician Paul Higgs will present Classic Jazz TV Themes at the Corn Exchange in Dorchester at 7.30pm on Friday, July 12.
He will be performing instantly-recognisable tunes from shows such as Spider-Man, Star Trek, The Pink Panther and Doctor Who. The themes of each of these much loved television series were actually written by jazz composers Johnny Dankworth, Alexander Courage, Henry Mancini and Ron Grainer respectively.
As well as playing the classics, there will also be jazz arrangements of other TV favourites performed by Mr Higgs and his band.
Tickets cost £18 for members and £16 for non-members & concessions. These are currently available to purchase on the Dorchester Arts website.
