Officers searching for a man reported missing from Portland are pleased to confirm he has been found.
Sukhbant Siddhu was reported missing having last been seen in the Wakeham area of the island at around 8am on Tuesday, July 2.
A coastguard helicopter was seen circling around Chesil Beach to support Dorset Police in the search for the missing man.
A spokesperson for HM Coastguard said: "Just after midday on July 2 2024, HM Coastguard was asked to assist Dorset Police at an incident near Chesil Beach.
"A Coastguard search and rescue helicopter, Wyke, Portland Bill and West Bay Coastguard Rescue Teams, Weymouth and Lyme Regis RNLI lifeboats were sent."
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "Following enquiries and searches by officers, he has been found.
"We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal."
