A person has died following an incident on the train tracks.
Emergency services were called to the tracks near Dorchester this morning to reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Officers from British Transport Police attended, and the person was subsequently pronounced dead.
Investigations remain ongoing.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “Officers were called just after 6.20am today (July 10) to the tracks near Dorchester to reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Officers attended and sadly a person was pronounced dead. The incident is being investigated by British Transport Police.”
