A pub in the county town is holding a family fun day and cider festival to raise funds for the local branch of a charity helping the elderly.
The Trumpet Major, on Alington Avenue in Dorchester, is holding a family fun day and cider festival on Saturday, August 10.
Featuring a range of ciders, the day also promises activities for all ages, such as a sack race, tug of war, as well as a bouncy castle.
Money from the day will aid Age UK in Dorset, who the pub have previously partnered with as a chosen charity, providing support through their community events.
