A woman shouted racist abuse and made gestures at three men from a car in Weymouth.

Three men were walking along Chickerell Road, near Budmouth School, when a car – believed to be a white Volkswagen Polo – drove past.

A female passenger of the vehicle shouted abuse at the men and made a gesture toward them.

The woman is described as having light blue hair tied back in a ponytail and a tattoo of sunshine on one of her forearms.

Police are now appealing for information as they investigate this incident which took place at around 1pm on Friday, August 9 as a racially aggravated public order offence in Weymouth.

A spokesperson for Weymouth & Portland Police said: "We would urge anyone who witnessed this incident or who may have captured relevant dashcam footage to please come forward."
