TWO people have been arrested following a robbery at a village post office near Dorchester.
Police were called to the sub-post office in Cattistock after a report that a robbery was taking place at around 9.15am yesterday.
Officers attended the scene and a description of a man was circulated to all patrols in the area.
Just after 9.30am, a Rover was stopped was stopped on the A37 north of Dorchester and the occupants were arrested.
A 19-year-old Weymouth man and 20-year-old Portland woman were taken into custody to assist police with their inquiries.
Police said 'property of some description had apparently been stolen' during the incident but no one was injured.
