TENANTS of Weymouth and Portland Housing can gain free advice about moving home on the web.
The social housing landlord has joined forces with specialised website Homeswapper, which helps tenants find suitable properties to exchange from thousands of landlords locally and across the country.
Tenants will be able to check the Homeswapper site from home or, if they don't have the internet, they can use the free facilities on offer at Weymouth and Portland Borough Housing's Egdon Hall headquarters in Lynch Lane.
Customer service co-ordinator Debbie Jones said: "Once a tenant registers with Homeswapper they can go online and view properties."
Tracy Martin was one of the first tenants to check out the Homeswapper service as it was launched at Egdon Hall.
She said: "This will certainly help when it comes to finding out what's available. It's an excellent service and that it's free is great news."
