STAFF and pupils at Wyvern School in Weymouth are celebrating after receiving a £10,000 cheque.
The money, from the St James's Place Foundation, will be used to provide new playground equipment on the school site off Dorchester Road.
Assistant headteacher Richard Holt said: "We are delighted to receive this cheque.
"We particularly want to buy a play train for the playground because it will help to enhance imaginative play.
"We are very grateful for the foundation's support which will mean a lot to all our pupils."
