Youths in Weymouth are to be issued warning letters for anti-social behaviour near to the library.
Dorset Police received a call about anti-social Behavior (ASB) occurring at Weymouth Library in the town centre yesterday afternoon (September 10).
Officers attended and promptly dealt with the trouble being caused, taking one of the youths home and warned them of their future behaviour.
A spokesperson for Weymouth and Portland Police said: "Officers identified one of the youths who was causing the most trouble and took them home to their parents, gave them words of advice and informed them about the repercussions that could happen if this behaviour continues.
"We will be working with Dorset Council Community Safety Team in regards to this incident to issue first warning letters for the behaviour that has occurred today.
"If you notice any Anti Social Behaviour in your area, please do not hesitate to report it to us."
