A POLICE chase through Poole came to a dramatic end when a suspected stolen car crashed into another car.
The NPAS police helicopter was brought up above the town to help officers on the ground find the ‘stolen’ grey Volvo.
The car was reported as being stolen in the area of Poole town centre at about 6.15pm on Wednesday evening, September 11.
When officers found the car, they asked it to pull over – however, the police officers allege it failed to stop for them.
Eventually, the car was found in Alder Crescent in the Alder Hills area after it had crashed with a red Alfa Romeo.
Meanwhile, a 20-year-old man from Poole was arrested on suspicion of driving offences and remained in police custody facing questions on Thursday morning, September 12.
Dorset Police’s spokesman said “There are no reports of any injuries sustained. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
