A man has completed a trek along the Jurassic coast to raise money for a cause close to his heart.
Tyrone Humphreys completed the trek along the in three days, averaging around 14 hours of walking each day.
He chose to complete the challenge to "give something back" to Macmillan Cancer Support - a charity that supported his family members after they were diagnosed with the disease.
He said: "I have seen the great work Macmillan has done first-hand. Last year I saw two members of my family - my Auntie Lorraine and my partner's grandmother Lynne Thorne - diagnosed with breast cancer and hodgkin's lymphoma respectively.
"They are both ok now but it was so unexpected. Macmillan helped them through it and gave them so much support.
"This challenge is a way to say thank you to Macmillan for all the hard work they have done."
Mr Humphreys started his walk at South Haven Point near Studland on August 30 and stopped at Lulworth Cove and Portland before finishing in Exmouth on September 1.
Despite facing challenging weather conditions, he was spurred on by the thought of his family members and public support.
So far Mr Humphreys, from Yeovil has raised £866 and hopes to bring the total to £1000.
He added: "I find everyone’s support moving. It was wonderful to talk to people along the way and to see people rallying around the cause.
"I am glad I can give something back and help people living with cancer. The money goes directly to support Macmillan nurses in what they do."
