A familiar antiques expert will be showcasing his passion for railways at an upcoming history talk.
Paul Atterbury, known for his many appearances on the BBC TV programme Antiques Roadshow, will be presenting a talk entitled "Speed to the West : The West Country through Railway Posters."
The Weymouth resident specialises in the art architecture, design and decorative arts of the 19th and 20th centuries and has even written books about his love of railway travel.
The talk is organised by the National Trust South Dorset Association (NTSDA) as part of their regular programme of events.
It will be held at St Aldhelms’ Church Centre, Spa Road on Thursday, October 31 at 2.30pm.
Tickets cost £3 for NTSDA members and £4 for Non-NTSDA members.
Refreshments will also be available.
